As a celebrant, I feel truly blessed to be invited into some of the most significant moments of people’s lives. Weddings often bring us together in joy, while funerals allow us to gather in love and remembrance. Both are deeply personal, meaningful milestones that I am honoured to guide.
On the 12th of May 2025, I had the privilege of officiating a service that was especially close to my heart — the farewell of my husband’s beloved Aunty, Lexi May Fauvette.
Her final resting place was at Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens, where she was cared for with such dignity and respect by Allen Pearce Funerals. The stunning florals by Wild Cosmos Flowers brought beauty and gentleness to the day, a reminder of the grace with which Lexi lived her life.
Lexi was farewelled with immense love by her family and friends — a true reflection of the incredible woman she was and the lives she touched.
To stand alongside family during this service was both humbling and healing. It reminded me once again why I do this work: to honour people’s stories, hold space for love and grief, and ensure every farewell is as unique as the life lived.
Rest peacefully, Lexi. You will be forever remembered with love.
